About Me
Hello, I'm Ashley Dobbins, a designer and photographer based out of Raleigh, NC.
As a designer, my career began in 2017 as the assistant graphic designer for a student-run college radio station, 91.7 The Edge WSUW Whitewater. A year in, I was promoted to director, working alongside other station directors on the exec board. Three years there gave me a strong foundation in promotional design, social media content, and concert photography.
After college, I began working for one of the nation's fastest-growing merchandise companies, SCP, as a production artist. Our clientele included big-name artists such as Chappell Roan, T-Pain, Freddie Gibbs, and Finneas. Working as a color separator, client communicator, R&D, and designer, the world of screen printing pushed me to diversify and sharpen my skills in the merch industry. I now work a contract role at Culture Studio as a production artist, balancing that with running my own photography business.
If I'm not at a local brewery with friends or a punk concert in the city, you'll often find me working on my Skoolie conversion with my husband. It's our project to turn a school bus into our tiny home on wheels.
